3D Short Animation

Quadruped Animation

This project is an individual practice in 3D quadruped animation. I conducted research to closely observe the movements of dogs while walking, focusing on muscle motion, body sway, and joint shifts. This study helped me capture realistic animal movement in my animation.

Process

Biped Animation

This project is an individual practice in 3D biped animation. I started by using a free rig for the animation and referenced skating videos, marking key poses to understand body movement during skating. This process helped me create smoother, more realistic motion in the animation.

Human Animation

For this project, I used free human voice audio as practice material. I began by designing a series of movements and recording them as a reference.

After marking the key poses, I created a blocking animation to establish timing and the character’s actions.

Next, I researched mouth shapes during speech and created a simple script to synchronize the dialogue with the character's mouth and tongue movements. I continued refining the details, enhancing the smoothness and subtlety of the character’s expressions and gestures to achieve a polished, realistic performance.
